Building New Bridges to Happiness, Joy & Bliss

Wesak is observed at the Taurus Full Moon and is an important spiritual celebration. It is sometimes observed as Buddha's birthday. Additionally, in many spiritual communities, it is celebrated as a time of uniting East and West, the Divine Light and Divine Love of the Lord Buddha and the Lord Christ.

The TSG annual retreat, also referred to as the Wesak Conference, is scheduled every year at the time of the Taurus Full Moon. This is an important time of spiritual renewal and inner contact.

We gather to listen to lectures, have group discussions, take time for individual reflection and meditation, learn sacred songs and sacred dances, participate in group meditation and visualization, and enjoy the great outdoors in the desert of Carefree, Arizona.

This year the program will begin with a special event on Wednesday evening, May 2, followed by 3 days of interactive seminar lectures and workshops, concluding with a lunch served at the Spirit in the Desert Retreat Center on Sunday, May 6. This year's topic will continue last year's exploration of Building New Bridges to Happiness, Joy & Bliss.
